What We BelieveWhat We Believe

We believe in the one ever-living, eternal God: infinite in power, holy in nature, attributes and purpose and possessing absolute, indivisible deity. This one true God has revealed Himself as Father, through His Son, and as the Holy Spirit.

We believe in the Divine inspiration of the Scriptures. The complete Bible is the living Word of God infallible, authoritative and everlasting, and the foundation of all Christian doctrine.

We believe that God created the heavens, the earth and all that is contained within the Universe.

We believe in the beginning God created man in His image; but through the sin of disobedience, the human race fell from their holy state and sin entered into the world. Because of this sin, Mankind is helpless to save itself.

We believe the Lord Jesus Christ is the eternally existing, only begotten Son of the Father conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He was totally God and yet totally man.

We believe the Lord Jesus Christ lived a holy, sinless life, died for our sins, was buried and the third day rose from the dead; that He appeared to men, that He ascended to His Father in Heaven and will one day return again.

We believe that salvation from the penalty and consequences of sin is found only through the substitutionary atoning death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ and that salvation of sinners is by grace through repentance and faith in the work of the Cross.

We believe it is the Holy Spirit alone who convicts men of sin, leads them to repentance, creates faith within them to believe, regenerates and indwells those who believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and manifests the fruit of the Spirit in the believer.

We believe that miraculous physical healing and deliverance in the Name of Jesus were provided in the atonement and are still available for us today.

We believe that baptism in water by full immersion, according to the Scriptures, in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit is an essential part of the Christian experience.

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues as a work of grace, separate to salvation and by His power He bestows gifts as He wills on believers today.

We believe that Godly living, according to the pattern and example given in the Word of God should characterise the life of every believer.

We believe the Church is the Body of Christ which finds its visible manifestation in the local community of believers and ministers through the co-operative exercise of God given gifts by the entire membership under God anointed and appointed leadership.
